I happened upon this little guy while hiking in Tuolumne Meadows, Yosemite National Park, CA. I took about a dozen shots, figuring that each was my last, the first at about a hundred feet. I kept walking slowly, zooming and wondering if I would get another shot before he darted off. Well, my last shot was about ten feet away, then he turned slowly and disappeared into his hole.
